Blacklist Season 10 Release Date : When Will The Blacklist Season 10 Premiere on NBC?

The Blacklist is an American television series that debuted on NBC on September 23, 2013, and is a crime drama in the genre of thriller. Raymond “Red” Reddington, played by James Spader, is a high-profile criminal who was a former officer in the United States Navy. After evading detection for many years, Raymond “Red” Reddington eventually turns himself in voluntarily to the FBI.

He informs the FBI that he has gathered over the years a list of the most dangerous criminals in the world and that he is willing to inform on their operations in exchange for amnesty from prosecution. He says that he has this list in exchange for immunity from prosecution. In addition to this, he is adamant about only cooperating with Elizabeth Keen, a newcomer to the FBI’s criminal profiling division (Megan Boone).

In addition to Diego Klattenhoff and Ryan Eggold, the series also stars Harry Lennix, Hisham Tawfiq, Amir Arison, and Amir Arison. Jon Bokenkamp was the one who penned the script for the pilot episode, and Joe Carnahan was the one who directed it.

The series is produced by Bokenkamp (for the first eight seasons), John Eisendrath, and John Davis for Sony Pictures Television, Universal Television, and Davis Entertainment, respectively. Bokenkamp also served as an executive producer for the first eight seasons.

The Blacklist Season 10: Renewed or Canceled?

Tom Scutaro, the location manager for The Blacklist, recently discussed the following topics in an interview with Westchester County Tourism & Film:

“It’s been a very successful run. It is difficult to realize that all of this began in 2013. With the exception of the first episode, I’ve been involved in the production of the show since it first began. We are overjoyed to announce that we will be back for the tenth season, and production on it will get underway right after the holiday weekend.”

The holiday known as Labor Day is observed on the first Monday of September, which falls on the fifth of that month in 2022. This is roughly the same time as production on season nine began the previous year.

The Blacklist has a tendency of filming episodes and releasing them at the same time, so if the production pattern continues, we could be able to watch the first episode of season 10 in the month of October.

The Blacklist Season 10: Cast and Character

After the exciting end of season nine, fans can’t stop thinking about who will be back for season ten.

Even though no one has been confirmed as of August 2022, we would expect its star and executive producer, James Spader, to return as Raymond “Red” Reddington, a criminal mastermind who became a supergrass analyst.

We also expect Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff), Harold Cooper (Harry Lennix), and Dembe Zuma (Hisham Tawfiq), who are all major players, to return.

Amir Arison, who played FBI Special Agent Aram Mojtabai in the show’s first season, and Laura Sohn, who played FBI agent Alina Park in the sixth season, will not be back for the next installment (via Deadline).

Arison is reportedly leaving to make his Broadway debut in The Kite Runner, an opportunity he says he “could not pass up.” In the meantime, Sohn is leaving to work on other projects, but we don’t know much about them yet.

In a long message on Twitter, Arison said, “The Blacklist has changed my life. I have made friends for life, learned so much along the way, and met so many wonderful people from all over the world who love the show.”

“I know how lucky I am to have been able to work and grow with a role for nine years with this special cast, crew, and so many dedicated artists.”

Even though Arison is leaving, the door is open for him to make guest appearances or even a full return in the future. His character’s exit story is that he is leaving the FBI and moving to Brooklyn. The finale even hinted at his next project by saying that he might see a Broadway show while he is in New York.

The Blacklist Season 10: Expected Plot

Fans were given a very decent indication of the path the tenth season will take, despite the fact that the premise of the next season is being kept under wraps for the time being. The season nine finale.

As the season came to a close, we learned that Red’s ostensibly trustworthy advisor Marvin Gerard (played by Fisher Stevens) was actually the one who was to blame for the passing of his cherished Elizabeth (Megan Boone).

But even after he was found out and killed, he still gave Red one final gift before he passed away, which worked out very poorly for Red.

Marvin told Wujing (Chin Han), one of the very first Blacklisters from season one, that he was caught because Red and the FBI were working together, before handing him a list of other people Red helped put away in prison when they ran into each other in prison. Wujing was one of the very first Blacklisters.

Now, Wujing is out to get revenge, and he has a list of additional Blacklisters that he intends to recruit to help him track down and eliminate Red.

At the very moment that Red’s mission to exact vengeance is drawing to a close, it seems as though he’ll be the one on the receiving end come season 10.

Rating for the Series

The average number of people aged 18–49 who watched the ninth season of The Blacklist was 0.29, and 2.97 million people watched the show. Compared to season 8, this is 16% less in the demo and 9% less in the live+same day ratings .

Even though these numbers don’t include delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how well a show is doing, especially when compared to other shows on the same channel.

There may be other economic factors that affect a show’s fate, but in general, the shows with the highest ratings are kept on and the ones with the lowest ratings are canceled. Find out how The Blacklist compares to other shows on NBC.
