Nam-ra is able to find some zombies. Because Dae-leg su’s leg is hurt, the students can’t leave the neighborhood and can’t fight the zombies.

Woo-jin gets bit while trying to protect his sister, which makes Nam-ra kill him. During the escape, Nam-desire ra’s urge to eat her friends gets stronger, and she almost bit On-jo because voices in her head are telling her to do so. Nam-ra leaves the group and disappears in the neighborhood because she feels bad and wants to protect her friends.

When Su-hyeok, On-jo, Dae-su, Hyo-ryung, Mi-jin, and Ha-ri find an abandoned train track, the military is finally able to save them. After four months, the government lifts martial law in Hyosan, but it keeps the people there in quarantine. Six students from Hyosan High School sneak out of the camp and return to what’s left of their school.
