As for the English cast, if the main characters come back, Johnny Yong Bosch and Michelle Ruff (the child version of Lelouch) will be back, as well as Kate Higgins as CC, Yuri Lowenthal, and Laura Bailey as Suzaku Kururugi, and Karen Strassman as Kallen Stadtfeld.

What Happened in the First and Second Seasons?

Code Geass takes place in a made-up Orwellian world where the Holy Britannian Empire, the European Union (also called Europa United), and the Chinese Federation are the three superpowers.

The story is about Lelouch vi Britannia, a prince from the Britannian Empire who is an outcast and also goes by the name Lelouch Lamperouge. His voice was done by Jun Fukuyama in the Japanese version and Johnny Yong Bosch in the English version. He meets a mysterious girl named C.C. (Yukana/Kate Higgins) while he is at the Ashford Academy. She gives him the Power of Kings, or Geass, which lets him tell anyone to do whatever he wants. Lelouch uses this power to plan war strategies and find the people who killed his mother. Because of this tragedy, his sister goes blind and loses the ability to walk.

In battle, robots called “Knightmare Frames” are used, and Japan is attacked by these mechs, which is a bad idea. These robots destroy the area, take it over by force, and call it Japan Area 11. Lelouch wants to get back at the empire for what they did wrong.

Also, he tells his childhood friend Suzaku Kururugi that he will free Japan from tyrannical plots, but they end up fighting each other in many battles. At first, he fights specific mecha battles to save himself, but in the end, he forms a radical rebel group called the “Black Knights” to free his empire.

What to Expect in Season 3 of Code Geass?

The only thing we know about the story of Code Geass: Z of the Recapture is that it happens after the third and final movie in the trilogy. Fans are curious about where the new series will go, since the original series and movies are set in different times.

Even though the movies are supposed to be recaps of the series, there are some big plot changes that make the Code Geass universe not make sense. Because of this, it’s still not clear if the new series will pick up right where the second season left off or if it will follow the storyline of the movie trilogy.Code Geass Season 3

“The people who made the [Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re; Surrection] movie must have thought of it as an alternate timeline, because Taniguchi said that the compilation trilogy is not a refutation of the TV show, but rather one possible outcome. That means the original ending will stay the same, while the new movies will create a new canon based on a different timeline.

The story of the new Code Geass series is still a secret, but it’s likely that we’ll find out more about the characters’ pasts. This is because it’s still not clear if Lelouch will have a direct role in the new series.
