The Trailer of The Peripheral

Flynne Fisher, who lives in a tiny town and works at a small 3D printing shop, is introduced in the trailer. Her coworker tells her, “Your personality and skills are tragically being wasted in this den of imbecility.” Whether I like it or not, this is the only world I have, says Flynne. Burton, Flynne’s brother and a veteran who resides in a trailer park van is a part of her limited universe.

One day, Burton presents her with a headgear that he claims is “the future” and is inspired by cyberpunk. When Flynne puts it on and closes her eyes, she is taken to a dismal 22nd-century London, where the streets and buildings are elegant but dangerously deserted and in disrepair. Holy sh*t! Flynn exclaims after donning the headset because she thinks she just finished an amazing game.
