The American procedural action drama TV show S.W.A.T. is based on the same-named 1975 TV show created by Robert Hamner and developed by Rick Husky. The new series was created by Aaron Rahsaan Thomas and Shawn Ryan. It debuted on CBS on November 2, 2017, and is made by Original Film, CBS Studios, and Sony Pictures Television.
The show was picked up for a third season on October 2, 2019, after CBS renewed it on May 9, 2019. CBS picked up the show for a fourth season in May 2020. The new season started on November 11, 2020. The show was given a fifth season in April 2021, which began on October 1, 2021. The show was given a sixth season in April 2022, which began on October 7, 2022.
About S.W.A.T.
The new drama series and movie “S.W.A.T.” are based on the same-named TV show. Lina Esco, who played Christina “Chris” Alonso for five seasons, announced her departure from SWAT just days after the season 5 finale. The remaining key characters, excluding Esco, are anticipated to return for season 6:

Production and Casting Detail of Swat Season 6?
