The Halloween Series: Halloween, 1978 Plot
Michael Myers’ journey began in 1963 when he was only six years old. He murders his sister Judith Myers, and his parents, well, they send him to a Sanitarium. He encounters Samuel Loomis, who was regarded as one of the primary protagonists in the earlier portions, in the Smith’s Grove Sanitarium. The Psychiatrist is aware that Michael Myers is not a typical patient and that if they release him, he will commit a massacre.
Michael escapes as planned while being transported to a court hearing; he is now estimated to be 21-23 years old. After seeing Laurie Strodes at his family’s home, he tracks her down.
He murders all of her pals one by one, all while Dr. Loomis searches for him. After slicing Laurie’s arm, Michael corners her, and the two battle until Dr. Loomis ultimately shoots Michael, which is enough to stop his body powered by pure evil spirits (For a short time).

Why Did Michael Myers Murder His Sister?
When Michael arrives home from Trick or Treating, he notices that his sister has brought a boy over, and as soon as the boy leaves, he goes to Judith’s room and stabs her with a knife. The child’s unexpected erratic behavior leaves the audience wondering, “Why would he do that?
The explanation is as easy as that since he is the personification of Evil itself. The original film’s creators made a point of avoiding including any explanations or backstories for why a 6-year-old might murder his sibling. If they did, spectators would develop sympathy for the killer, reducing the shock value that Michael Myers would deliver.
The only plausible explanation would be that he was a sociopathic serial killer with no sentiments or motivation for his kills. In the film “Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers,” directors like Daniel Farrands attempted to create Michael’s backstories, including him in some type of Celtic cult that caused him to murder everyone in his bloodline, especially on Halloween night.
This was not well received by moviegoers, therefore these scenes were largely overlooked. Michael Myers is the scariest killer Haddonfield has ever had since his murders have no rhyme or reason. He kills for the sake of killing.
