Graham Wardle is a Canadian actor, director, and photographer. Graham Wardle is best known for playing Ty Borden in the enduring CBC series Heartland.
Wardle was raised in New Westminster, close to Vancouver, along with his five siblings after being born on September 6, 1986, in Mission, British Columbia. Wardle graduated in 2007 from Capilano University‘s Motion Picture and Production Program in Vancouver.

Career Wardle began his acting career in a number of television programs and commercials. With Meg Ryan and Adam Brody, Wardle starred in the 2007 movie In the Land of Women. He was chosen to play Ty Borden in the CBC television series Heartland that same year.

For the Heartland episodes Summer’s End and The Starting Gate, Wardle received two LEO Award nominations. He has acted in a number of films and television shows, including Yesterday, a zombie-horror flick, Mon Ami, Supernatural, and the SyFy Channel film Grave Halloween. As Heartland’s 14th season got underway in 2020, Wardle announced his departure, saying, “I felt in my heart it was time to move in a new direction.”

Wardle created the short film The Vessel in 2012. A film production and entertainment company called Lone Maverick was co-founded by Wardle in the summer of 2013.

Graham Wardle played on the first New Westminster Hyack football team in 2003. He suffered a concussion while he was playing, which affected his future.

Sadly, Wardle and his wife are no longer married. Three years after getting married, the couple filed for divorce. However, the news of their divorce wasn’t made public until the Heartland actor discussed his marriage on Facebook Live in the early months of 2020.

Wardle was participating in a Q&A session where he addressed questions from his fans on any subject. Isabella, a web surfer, had just asked him how he and his wife were faring during the pandemic. She inquired as to whether they went for beach walks or engaged in pet playtime while under quarantine.
The 35-year-old responded, “I am going, to be honest guys, and I have kept my life pretty private for a while now,” before stating that he truly wanted to share that he and his wife had divorced.

He explained that they had split up about two years earlier. Wardle added that he preferred to keep his personal life just that: personal after disclosing the divorce.

The accomplished actor clarified that his absence from his social media accounts was due to his separation. He claimed that he did this for both of them in order to “just give some space, and then just for the privacy.”
