American television sitcom Young Rock is based on the life of actor and professional wrestler Dwayne Johnson, better known by his ring name “The Rock.” Johnson, Jeff Chiang, and Nahnatchka Khan are the creators of the series, which debuted on NBC on February 16, 2021.

Critics have generally given the series favorable reviews. A second season of the show was ordered in April 2021. Prior to the second season’s premiere on March 15, 2022, a holiday special episode aired on December 15, 2021. The show received a third season’s renewal in May 2022, which debuted on November 4, 2022.
