Curtain Call Cast and Character
Kang Haneul plays Yoo Jae-hun, our stage actor who died in a tragic accident (Insidner). When he sees Hotel Paradise, he is shocked, and in the voiceover, he says that he wants to be a “real” actor and use his talent to inspire even just one person.
Park Se-Yeon, who is played by Ha Ji-won, is the youngest grandson of the chaebol company behind Hotel Paradise (Chocolate). She is in a picture with her beloved grandmother, Go Du-shim, and she thinks that the person in the picture might be Go Du-long-lost shim’s grandchild.
The star of Critical X, Kwon Sang-woo, plays another chaebol heir named Bae Dong-Jae, who gets caught up in the power structure of Hotel Paradise. He was once going to marry Se-Yeon. He is annoyed that Jae-hun and Se-growing Yeon already know about the teaser.
Our main character, Seo Yoon-hee, is a “smart” lawyer who is living her best life as a no-name actor. She is falling in love with Jung Ji-so (star of Doom at Your Service). Already a square of love! Noh Sang-Hyun, who was in Pachinko, shows up in our last images as the mysterious Ri Moon-sung, who is linked to a drug trafficking group and the movement of illegal goods into or out of North Korea.
Curtain Call Storyline
In 1930, Ja Geum Soon (also known as Go Shim) was born in what is now called North Korea. In the 1950s, when the Korean War broke out, she moved to what is now South Korea. She left her husband and young son behind. She built a hotel because she wanted to be with her family and thought it would serve as a sign and bring them together.
Over time, this hotel changed into a successful Nakon hotel chain. Ja Geum Soon has never met her grandson Moon Sung, but as she gets closer to dying, she wants more than anything to see him again. The older woman’s loyal servant Jung Cheol (Sung Il) comes up with a plan to help her find peace before she dies: he would hire a performer to pose as Im Moon Sung.
He looks for Yoo Jae Heon, played by Kang Han Neul, a struggling performance artist who has been playing a North Korean soldier in a play. Yoo Jae Heon said the same thing. He is told to pretend to be a dissident who has come to see an old widow before trying to go back to the North. But it’s clear right away that he ate more than he could handle.
He also meets Park Se Yeon (Ji Won), who is in charge of Nakwon and is determined to keep it out of the wrong hands because she is the granddaughter of Ja Geum Soon.
