One of the biggest casting announcements for Chicago P.D. season 10 occurred at the end of August when Deadline(opens in new tab) reported that Jesse Lee Soffer’s Detective Jay Halstead will be leaving the show after the tenth season. It’s likely that Soffer will leave the program in the autumn, though it’s unknown how the production will write out his character just yet.
