Today, a teaser trailer for the second season of the popular anime Edens Zero came out. The trailer showed some new footage and said that the second season might come out in April 2023.
Edens Zero is the anime version of Hiro Mashima’s hit science fantasy manga of the same name, which came out in April 2021. The first volume of the manga came out in June 2018, and as of now, there are 22 volumes.
The anime’s official summary says, “Shiki has been surrounded by machines his whole life.” “He is the only one of his kind at Granbell Kingdom, a long-closed amusement park. That is, until Rebecca Bluegarden and her cat, Happy, show up. They don’t know it, but they are Granbell’s first visitors in 100 years. Their goal is to make fun videos for their B-Cube channel, but what they end up with is a friend in the socially awkward Shiki.
Edens Zero Season 2 Release Date
As of the most recent update, neither Kodansha, Aniplex, Studio J.C. Staff, nor any other company involved in making the anime has officially confirmed when Season 2 of EDENS ZERO will come out.
But it has been announced that the second season of EDENS ZERO will be made, and it has been confirmed that EDENS ZERO S2 will come out in April 2023.

Even before the second season was confirmed, it was clear that there would be a second season because the story was written by the same person who wrote Fairy Tail. Saying that the “adventure will continue” was not an official confirmation that the anime sequel would be made, but it was the first sign that the committee in charge of making anime would have EDENS ZERO renewed.

Streaming revenue is the most important factor for success in the modern anime industry, so Netflix’s streaming numbers were the real test. The anime production committee must have thought the numbers were good enough to keep EDENS ZERO going, which is good news.
The sudden death of director Suzuki is probably why Season 2 of EDENS ZERO wasn’t announced right away. It will take time to find a good replacement, especially since the main staff is often made up of freelancers who are booked for projects in advance.

Edens Zero English Dub Release Date
The trailer for EDENS ZERO on Netflix was shown with English subtitles. When EDENS ZERO came out on August 26, 2021, it came with an English dub.

Edens Zero Manga’s Ending Explain
The anime TV show is based on the manga EDENS ZERO, which was made by the same person who made Fairy Tail and Rave Master. Since June 2018, the manga has been coming out in parts of Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. As of August 17, 2022, it’s up to EDENS ZERO Volume 22.

In North America, the English version of EDENS ZERO is being put out by Kodansha Comics USA. As of August 23, 2022, the English version was up to Volume 18. Volume 19 was set to come out on October 25, 2022, Volume 20 was set to come out on December 27, 2022, Volume 21 was set to come out on February 28, 2023, and Volume 22 was set to come out on April 25, 2023.

The end of the EDENS ZERO manga is nowhere to be seen. During an interview in 2019, Mashima gave a rough estimate.
“Right now, I’d say it’s between 20 and 30 volumes. Well, even though that’s how I feel right now, it will last longer if it’s supposed to, and it will end if it’s supposed to. At first, I thought Fairy Tail would end after about 10 volumes, but it went on longer than I thought it would because it was more popular than I thought it would be.
Let’s move on to January 2021. In an interview with Mantan Web, Mashima explained that he did think EDENS ZERO would be around 30 volumes long at first.

“But that might not be the end,” the author of EDENS ZERO said. “Drawing gets more fun the more I do it. I keep coming up with ideas.”
Mashima seems to want the EDENS ZERO manga to be longer than Rave Master, which had 295 chapters in 35 volumes, but shorter than Fairy Tail, which ended with Chapter 545 in Volume 63.

Mashima has an idea of how he wants to end the last chapter, or the climax, of EDENS ZERO, but it seems to be changing over time.
Mashima said, “It depends on the manga.” “I had a clear idea of how I wanted Rave Master to go from beginning to end. On the other hand, I hadn’t made any decisions about Fairy Tail at all. I have decided on some parts of EDENS ZERO, but I want to keep the weekly “sense of live-action” as important as possible.
So, if we had to guess, when the EDENS ZERO anime debuted on Netflix, the manga was only about half did, even though there were already over 150 chapters out. The manga chapters are broken up into story arcs and Sagas. Chapter 105 is the beginning of the second saga.
