When to Watch the Bullet Train on Netflix?

Bullet Train is a 2022 American action comedy film directed by David Leitch from a screenplay by Zak Olkewicz, starring Brad Pitt, and produced by Antoine Fuqua, who initially conceived the film. It is based on Ktar Isaka’s 2010 novel Maria Beetle, which was translated by Sam Malissa and published under the title Bullet Train in the UK and the US. Maria Beetle is the second book in Isaka’s Hitman trilogy; the first book was already adapted as the 2015 Japanese film Grasshopper.

Pitt plays a reluctant assassin who must fight off other murderers while traveling on a dramatized version of the Tokaido Shinkansen bullet train. Along with the main actors, the movie also stars Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada, Michael Shannon, Bad Bunny, and Sandra Bullock.

Beginning in November 2020 and wrapping up in March 2021, principal photography took place in Los Angeles. Sony Pictures Releasing’s Bullet Train had its Paris premiere on July 18, 2022, and on August 5, 2022, it was theatrically distributed in the United States. On a production budget of about $90 million, the movie was a box office hit, earning $239.3 million globally.

About the movie Bullet Train (2022)

Bullet Train, a film adaptation of Japanese mystery writer Kotaro Isaka‘s 2010 book Maria Beetle, features five assassins boarding one of Japan’s swiftest bullet trains with only a few stops in the middle. They don’t understand how their motivations are related to one another.

When the attackers are being sought after, Brad Pitt, a former army sharpshooter, looks through briefcases. They are not trying to connect. The situation swiftly deteriorated when they realized that more than half of the participants shared the same objective.
