The White Lotus is an American anthology comedy-drama show on HBO that was made by Mike White. It’s about the guests and workers at the White Lotus resort chain, which is made up, and how their problems affect their stay. The first season takes place in Hawaii, and the second in Sicily.
The White Lotus was supposed to be a six-part limited series. It started on July 11, 2021, with high ratings and praise from critics. At the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards, the first season won the most awards. It won ten awards in the limited series categories, including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series, Outstanding Writing, Outstanding Directing for White, Outstanding Supporting Actress for Jennifer Coolidge, and Outstanding Supporting Actor for Murray Bartlett.
Because of how well the show did, HBO decided to keep it going as an anthology series. The second season began on October 30, 2022. The show was picked up for a third season in November 2022.

“Like, you might not be able to go to Japan without Jennifer. We’ve already worked with a lot of fun actors, so it just depends on who’s available.”
Some of the actors from seasons one and two could come back for season three, or a whole new cast could play a new group of hotel guests.

The White Lotus Season 3 Expected Plot
Mike White, who made The White Lotus, says he wants to do another season and is already thinking of a new place to film. He told Deadline at the beginning of the second season: “Just yesterday, we gave the network our last episode, so it’s hard to think about the next race.
But if we did, I think it would be fun to go to another continent. We went to Europe, and if we did something crazy like go to Asia or something, that would be fun.” The plot of a possible third season would probably follow the same pattern as the first two. It would focus on a group of hotel guests at the made-up White Lotus resort.
