It won’t blow your mind, and the animation is average, but it’s a good family movie that doesn’t feature Minions.

Miracle on 34th Street

Christmas With the Kranks

Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis portray a couple who do what I wish I could do once in my life: forgo Christmas and go on vacation instead. Unfortunately, their neighbors find their decision abhorrent, and when their daughter announces she’ll be visiting in a matter of hours for a surprise Christmas party, they are forced to prepare a Christmas party as if they had never intended to leave. Laughter descends on the chimney. This film was taken from a novel by John Grisham!

Surviving Christmas

Without a doubt, this film is dreadful. However, the cast includes Ben Affleck, James Gandolfini, Christina Applegate, and Catherine O’Hara. Three of these four individuals are tolerable. It cannot be THAT terrible, right? Yes, indeed. Affleck portrays a wealthy businessman who craves familial affection during the holiday season, so he pays the family living in his old house to pretend to be his family.

Santa Claus: The Movie

This cheesy Christmas film hails from the decade when Hollywood dared to name films [subject]: The Film: the middle 1980s.
