According to the most recent issue of Square Enix’s G Fantasy weekly newspaper, The Irregular at Magic High School will be expanded with three additional manga series (via Anime News Network).
In 2023, new serialisations of the manga will be published simultaneously in the Monthly G Fantasy and in Kadokawa‘s Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh. Mei Higuchi will adapt the prologue of the Disturbance Arc from the light novels’ 21st and 22nd volumes, while Tsuna Kitaumi, who worked on the manga adaptation, will adapt the Isolation Arc from the 23rd volume of the light novels. At long last, Yuzuki N Dash will adapt the Escape Arc found in the 24th and 25th volumes of the Light Romance series.
Fans won’t have to wait too long for further information because it will be released in 2023, which is earlier than we had imagined it would be. However, there is currently no other date or other information about it.
During the years 1984-1997, IRL made its debut in the writing section of “The Magic High School Began,” which was originally published as an internet book series titled “Arta” and written by Tsutomu Sato and company. The light novel series ran from July 2011 through September 2020, compiling a total of 32 volumes and ten spin-off stories before coming to an end. Madhouse was responsible for the creation of the first season of the anime television adaption, which began production in 2014. Eight Bit was in charge of producing his second season, which ran from October to December and was broadcast online.
