Ralphie then gets a phone call telling him that his father has died. His mother tells him that his father wouldn’t want him to be sad about it, even though that’s what he wants to do. Ralphie starts to feel the effects of the pressure to make Christmas perfect for everyone. Ralphie’s mom asked him to write an obituary for his father as if he didn’t have enough to do. He might have to write something harder than this.

Ralphie was a role that was made for Peter Billingsley. He gave this part so much life that you can’t help but smile, laugh, and feel sorry for Ralphie. Throughout the movie, you can tell that he put a lot of heart into both his acting and his narration. It was almost as if he took it upon himself to make sure that the legacy of the original stayed the same. Billingsley did an amazing job.

When it came to the original, one of the best things about the movie was how much it felt like the original. By taking us back to the old town and showing us the houses and flashbacks, the story pulls you into this world, which I loved. Even some of the notes were the same as in the original score. Of course, having a lot of the same actors from the first movie also helped. The people who wrote the story and worked behind the scenes knew they had to be careful with it, and they did a great job.

Look, I was very worried about this movie because the original is a holiday tradition for the Valero family. During Christmas, my wife plays it all day. But to be honest, this movie is amazing. It’s funny, sweet, and brings back so many memories. They did the original justice, and that makes me so happy. I can’t wait to add this to the list of things to watch every holiday season.
