A Man Was Run Over Several Times in a New Jersey Parking Lot Because of a Fight Over a Woman.

Authorities say that a dispute over a woman led to a fight between two men in an Old Bridge parking lot last week. One of the men ran over the other man several times, killing him.

A criminal complaint against Marvin L. Tyler, 32, of Sayreville, describes the fight that happened in the parking lot of a medical office on Perrine Road on November 29. Tyler is charged with aggravated manslaughter and two weapons crimes.

The affidavit said that the woman about whom the men fought is Tyler’s girlfriend. Jason Freeman, who died, was her ex-boyfriend.

Five days before Freeman was hit by a car and killed, the woman told police in Sayreville that he was making her feel uncomfortable. In the affidavit, all that is written about her is her initials.

On the day of the fight in the parking lot, Tyler said he drove his girlfriend’s car to the building to pick her up from work. That’s when Freeman came up to him, the affidavit said.
