In episode 10, we see Mr. Suehiro kill a maid by strangling her when he goes to the Oinky Doink Cafe, which is doing very well after winning the Lady Omoe Festival. Nagomi doesn’t want Ranko to fall in love, but the Manager lets it happen because Suehiro is a rich banker.

Suehiro, who goes to the maid cafe often, asks Ranko on a date. Even though Okachimachi tries to stop Ranko from leaving the cafe, the rest of the staff helps her get dressed and put on makeup. After spending the day with her, Suehiro offers to go with her to Sapporo at night.

After he departs, Okachimachi arrives and informs her that Suehiro will murder her. Suehiro, on the other hand, was about to murder her when he was stopped by a passing police officer and a speeding car struck the maid as she ran away. She then confesses that she is the maid who murdered Ranko’s former boss Michiyo in order to get promoted.

Reviews of Akiba Maid Sensou Episode 10

The frame gag is undoubtedly absurd, yet it exemplifies each of these genre elements to perfection. This event may also be considered grave. Our pity for Ranko and our involvement in her story, which keeps us fascinated despite its intrinsic absurdity, can dampen the pleasures of Maid War. Since the birthday episode, we’ve known what the Oink-Doink sisters are thinking, so it’s lovely to see them all pitch in to help her prepare.

Since Suehiro is essentially a Maid Hitman, we have some concerns about the plot’s trajectory. Curiously, Ranko is most at ease in the company of a cold-blooded contract murderer. The fundamental dilemma is whether or not Ranko can enjoy genuine happiness in the mythologized maid industry, notwithstanding Nagomi’s worries over the limitations of love in the trade.

All of this makes for a wonderful build-up that had me laughing out loud when Suehiro pulled out his “Let’s Escape Together” train tickets because, of course, it led to a shocking “holy s***” moment when the panda emerged from the shadows, to tell the truth! She turns out to be far more intertwined with Ranko and the larger plot than we could have thought, given that she has always been somewhere between an indirect running humor and a potential plot twist.

Akiba Maid Sensou Episode 11

This is in addition to the very funny fact that Okachimachi’s voice is done by Aya Hirano. Even though I only called it a “holy shit” moment, I think it was a series of “what what” and “oh my god” moments that led up to finding out that Okachimachi killed Ranko’s mentor Michiyo. She has been here from the start. Even though it might have been a bit of a stretch, everything fits perfectly with the show’s main idea and plot.

Even though Okachimachi had the same dreams as Nagomi, she became so sad and disappointed that she turned back into a panda. Even though we laugh when we see Okachimachi sweating through her panda suit when Ranko first walks into Oinky-Doink to work for Oinky-Doink, her attempts to make amends with both herself and Ranko by protecting him from her new hitman suitor ring are thematically sincere.

I thought for a split second that Ranko had killed this endangered species, and that wasn’t even the beginning of figuring out what Suehiro was really up to. In contrast to some of Maid War’s other dramatic attempts, which can be seen as simple emotional manipulation, the twists in this one were fascinating to watch. Because of how strange the Akiba Maid War is, maids can’t really feel traditional happiness, even if they can think about it.

As a result, it is unpleasant for the maids yet great for everyone at home. As we see a forlorn hitman smoke one last cigarette and have a revelatory chat with his panda-suited murderer as she waits for her date fate never shows up in the pouring rain with a café maid, we understand the tone of the show. It’s bitter coffee with charming café latte art, terribly ludicrous and tragically absurd. It’s cartoonish, tragically ludicrous, and wildly absurd.
