In June 2022, a spoiler Instagram account for Below Deck shows posted a screenshot of a DM from someone who said to be in Cairns, Australia, where Below Deck Down Under was supposedly filming.

Whether or not that is true, Deadline said in October 2022 that Peacock had ordered a second season of the show. At the same time, Below Deck Sailing Yacht and Below Deck Mediterranean were also both picked up for new seasons by Bravo.

Even though Below Deck Down Under is mostly a Peacock show that airs on Bravo in reruns, it’s clear that fans liked it from the beginning of its first season.

There are rumors that two big names will be back for Season 2 of Below Deck Down Under. This is good news for fans who might not watch a second season if their favorite characters don’t come back.
