Gor Taniguchi’s Worries Were Eased by a Very Important Source
Gor Taniguchi joined “One Piece Film: Red” after being asked to join several times before. All of it came down to one person for the director: Eiichiro Oda. Getting a “yes” was important for the director to feel better about taking charge of the project.
Getting the go-ahead from Oda also meant that Taniguchi could start remaking a well-known series. To do this, Taniguchi would have to deal with every part of the long-running manga and anime series. For example, he would have to look at how the world has changed since “One Piece” first came out 23 years ago.
During the interview, he said, “That means that there are rules about certain productions, business models, and even the technical parts of the pipeline that were set in place 23 years ago.” “But may not work anymore or are no longer relevant in our time.
