Human Resources Season 2 Release Date: It Will Be Renewed or Not?

Nobody anticipated that Human Resources, the spin-off of the Netflix comedy Big Mouth, would also be a smash hit. Human Resources, billed as an eccentric office comedy series recounts the travails of the numerous monsters encountered in Big Mouth, including Hormone Monsters, Shame Wizards, Love Bugs, the Depression Kitty, and others.

In addition to the known animals, Season 1 included several new ones, such as the Ambition Gremlins, Addiction Angels, Logic Rocks, and Keith from Grief. In addition to reuniting with fan favorites such as Maury and Connie, Human Resources focuses mostly on Emmy, a new and passionate Love Bug who is still learning her role.

The streaming service promptly commissioned a second season of Human Resources after the series became an unexpected hit and received a 90% critical consensus on Rotten Tomatoes. But when will the second season of Human Resources premiere?

Human Resources Season 2 Release Date

Human Resources season 2 has been confirmed for April 2022, however, its release date has not been disclosed. Given that the first season of Human Resources premiered in March 2022, we can likely anticipate that the second season will also premiere in early 2023.

The first teasers for Human Resources were released in January and February of 2022, thus it seems highly certain that we will learn more within the first few months of 2023.

Human Resources Season 2 Plotline

In the most recent season of Big Mouth, it was made obvious that the narratives of the two animated programs intertwine, thus we can anticipate meeting up with Maury and Connie’s child now that it is an adult, having fast grown up during season 6.

When we left Human Resources, our favorite Love Bug, Emmy, had finally grown to appreciate her job and was inundated with new clients. While it’s possible that the second season could return some of the human characters, such as Becca, it seems likely that the focus will change to an entirely new group of human clients who Emmy and others will help deal with their emotions.

Dishy Dante, the Addiction Angel, and fellow Love Bug Rochelle look to be doing well by the conclusion of the season, but Pete still seems to have a love for her, and Emmy and Dante have a convoluted history, so it seems probable that we won’t see the last of their drama in season 2.
