Taylor Swift Will Direct Her First Major Motion Picture From a Script She Wrote Herself.

Taylor Swift fans are excited because it was just announced that the pop star will direct her first full-length movie based on a script she wrote herself. Swift has written an original script that will be made by Searchlight Pictures, which has made movies like Nomadland and The Shape of Water that won Oscars.

However, more information about the project has been kept secret. This is not Taylor’s first time directing, though. She has done it before with her own music videos, such as the multi-award-winning short film All Too Well: The Short Film. Taylor Swift also wrote the nearly 15-minute video, which starred Sadie Sink from Stranger Things and Dylan O’Brien from Teen Wolf.

At the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards for music videos, the singer-songwriter won for best video, best long-form video, and best direction. With her win at the 2020 award show for the music video for her song “The Man,” she became the first and only solo artist to ever win two best direction awards.

Swift has won 11 Grammys, and she is the only woman in Grammy history to have won the prestigious album of the year award three times. The 10-minute version of “All Too Well” recently got her another Grammy nomination for song of the year.
