Is Ward Cameron Dead After the Explosion?

After Rafe takes the cross and gets the whole family on a cargo ship with the help of Rose, who kidnaps Sarah, Ward tells Sarah that he is still alive and tries to get Sarah to rejoin the family.

In the teen drama Outer Banks on Netflix, Ward Cameron (Charles Esten) has been a tough rival for John B (Chase Stokes) and the Pogues for two seasons. Ward is a rich businessman who acts like a good father but is actually the complete opposite. He is a murderer and a liar who has been at the center of most of the bad things that have happened on the island. He even looked for the Royal Merchant in secret so he could take the gold for himself.

As soon as John B. and Sarah Cameron (Madelyn Cline) found the gold, John B. had it flown to the Bahamas. With all his money and power, Ward seemed to be able to get out of any situation. But things seemed to be changing when Deputy Victor Shoupe (Cullen Moss) said he wasn’t working closely with Ward but was trying to bring him down with the State Bureau of Investigation in North Carolina (SBI). When the SBI raided his house, it seemed like Ward was finally going to get caught.

He says, “When I saw that, I thought it was just as epic and operatic as I had hoped and wanted. You can’t do it halfway. You have to go all the way to say goodbye to this character, or no one will believe it. They did more than that. They just did everything. I think that’s why it’s such a shock when it happens. They did it right, and even better.”
