Is Gal Gadot Planning a Return to the Fast & Furious Series in Fast X?

It’s hard to believe, but the “Fast & Furious” franchise intends to launch an amazing ninth installment next year. The release date for the upcoming film “Fast X” is presently set for May 19, 2023. And “Fast X” will herald the start of the final race for the main series before “Fast & Furious 11” is expected to follow and close everything off.

It’s unfortunate that getting there hasn’t been without its share of difficulties. Production challenges have included Justin Lin stepping down as director and some Los Angeles citizens objecting to the movie’s vehicle stunts.

Fans have many reasons to be enthusiastic about Dom Toretto’s (Vin Diesel) and his NOS-equipped companions’ most recent journey, even in the face of these challenges. The film will have fresh faces from the series, like Jason Momoa, who portrays the primary antagonist.

But because the “Fast” series is primarily about family, viewers can probably anticipate the return of some of their favorite long-running characters, including Tej Parker, Michelle Rodriguez, and Sung Kang’s Han Lue (Ludacris). However, Gisele Yashar could now need to be added as Gal Gadot is apparently making a “Fast & Furious” comeback in “Fast X.”

Fast & Furious 6: Does Gal Gadot ‘s Character Die

Many fans likely first became familiar with Gal Gadot in 2009 through her role as Gisele Yashar in “Fast & Furious,” before she took on the heroic persona of Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe. Her involvement in the series, however, was short-lived when Gisele sadly perished in “Fast & Furious 6” while attempting to save Han, the man she was in love with.

Nevertheless, The Direct reports that Gadot will apparently appear in “Fast X” despite the death of her character. As of now, neither Universal nor Gadot herself have made any official statements on her comeback to the “Fast” series. Everyone might, however, be remaining silent in order to surprise supporters.

Gadot will rejoin her “Justice League” co-star Jason Momoa if she does participate in “Fast X.” An unexpected return of her character wouldn’t be out of the question either. Though we were led to assume Han had been slain in “Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift,” Han surprise made a comeback in “F9.”

Additionally, some Reddit users speculated that Gisele and Han were alive years before Han made his official comeback in “F9.” Of course, there’s also the option of a flashback, which, according to Han’s actor Sung Kang, was really intended to occur for the two characters in “Furious 7.” Sung mentioned that he and Gadot shot flashback scenes for “Furious 7,” but they weren’t used, on the “Sung’s Garage Podcast.”
