It stars Glenn Close, John Malkovich, Michelle Pfeiffer, Uma Thurman, Swoosie Kurtz, Mildred Natwick, Peter Capaldi, and Keanu Reeves. On December 16, 1988, Warner Bros. Pictures put the movie Dangerous Liaisons in theatres.

Dangerous Liaisons Storyline
This is a breath of fresh air after all the British dramas and soap operas set in the past that I’ve been watching lately. It moves quickly, is entertaining, and has a number of standout performances.
In other words, it’s just the thing to put on for a mindless Sunday night. I don’t agree with the other reviews. This is more of a reinterpretation than an adaptation. If you can let go of the original, you’ll like this much more.
Everything about this movie is beautiful, from the way it was shot to the sex scenes to the scenery and sets. I have high hopes for the rest of the season because there have already been shocking twists and turns in just the first two episodes.

Dangerous Liaisons Season 1 Reviews
The plot is hurried in the first few episodes, and the idea could be more appealing. Character development is also lacking. This story doesn’t do the original work justice. Because of the characters and the premise, I really want to like this story, but the hurried writing style prevents me from doing so.
The act, however, is weak despite the stunning set and costumes. Long periods of useless chatter are mixed with occasional instances of deft story-telling. Because I love the time period and the core premise, I wanted to appreciate this episode. Although Outlander and similar episodes were some of my favorites, this one doesn’t measure up.
