Seven Deadly Sins Season 5 Release Date: What to Expect From the Seven Deadly Sins Season 5?

The Seven Deadly Sins’ fourth season, which was fairly unimpressive, is now available worldwide on Netflix. The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgment, the fifth season, is almost finished airing in Japan and will be available on Netflix sooner than planned. Here is everything that is currently known about The Seven Deadly Sins season 5, including what to anticipate and whether series four’s animation style has been updated.

Based on the manga series of the same name by creator Nakaba Suzuki, The Seven Deadly Sins is a Netflix Original anime series that has been licensed. Over 37 million copies of the manga have been sold worldwide, and the franchise has a fervently devoted following. A-1 Pictures used to be the studio’s animator, but Studio Deen is now its new home.

We’d want to clarify that we’re classifying this season as the fifth since we’re following how Netflix has formatted the Original, much like we did with the fourth season. We know that the second season consisted of a few OVA episodes.

In the past, Netflix has gained notoriety for placing its legally obtained anime in “Netflix Jail.” Anime that is originally broadcast in Japan and then makes its way to Netflix several months later is referred to by this word, which was created by the anime community.

The Seven Deadly Sins has previously experienced “Netflix Jail,” thus moving the release date earlier than anticipated merely proves that Netflix is beginning to pay attention to the anime community.

Seven Deadly Sins Season 5 plotline: What to Expect From the Seven Deadly Sins Season 5?

As we approach what should be the last season of The Seven Deadly Sins, there’s a lot to unpack.

The new season’s title, “The Seven Deadly Sins: The Judgment of Anger,” was unveiled in August 2020.

The first look at season 5 of The Seven Deadly Sins was also shown in August.

The following season synopsis was attached to the artwork in the news post:

“Meliodas, Elizabeth, Hawk, Dianne, Van, King, Gowther, Merlin, and Escanor stand against the flames, a powerful foe, and a graphic showing the Seven Deadly Sins meeting their fate.”

Season four of the anime ended at what would be manga chapter 267. The manga includes a total of 346 chapters, leaving only 79 for the anime to cover.

There’s still a lot of ground to cover at that time.

Will There Be a Sixth Season of the Seven Deadly Sins?

As we briefly noted above, the manga has very little source material remaining to cover. With only 79 chapters remaining, it wouldn’t be surprising if the anime ended after five seasons.

Having said that, the fourth season only covered only 31 chapters of the manga, therefore the anime might be extended to a sixth season to see out the finale.

Fans should not be concerned; there is plenty of stories, combat, and plot twists engraved into the remaining 79 chapters of The Seven Deadly Sins to keep you amused.

We won’t give any spoilers here, but a sequel manga titled The Seven Deadly Sins: The Four Knights of the Apocalypse is in the works. As a result, a sixth season could focus on Nakaba Suzuki’s new plot.

Will the Animation Be Improved for the Seven Deadly Sins Season 5?

The considerable reduction in animation quality was one of the most contentious issues of the fourth season.

It’s no secret that The Seven Deadly Sins’ production was relocated from A-1 Pictures to Studio Deen. One of the lesser-known facts is that Studio Deen outsourced the animation to Marvy Jack, a South Korean animation studio.

The findings were unimpressive and very contentious.

Fans were outraged, but Studio Deen has yet to comment on whether or not they will handle the entire production of Season 5.

When Will the Final Episodes of Seven Deadly Sins Be Coming to Netflix?

We predicted that the last episodes of Seven Deadly Sins will be released in September or October 2021, based on the release date of the fifth season.

We’re delighted to inform you that we were dead on with season 5 part 2 (or called “additional episodes” in the Netflix app) set to release globally on Netflix on September 23rd, 2021.

Fans will have to wait a few more months to enjoy the remaining episodes because Netflix gives a plethora of dubs and subs for the anime. Dubs and subtitles can take months to complete. This is commonly known as Netflix Jail.

What Can We Expect From Season 5 Part 2 of the Seven Deadly Sins?

Ban and Meliodas are stronger than ever after escaping from purgatory. But that didn’t stop the Demon King from seizing Meliodas and almost carrying out his final plot.

Even though The Seven Deadly Sins were able to release Meliodas’ body from the Demon King’s dominion, everyone is still in danger.

Expect the Demon King to execute a startling nasty trick for his plans to come to fulfillment, leading to a climactic clash for The Seven Deadly Sins.

Netflix has also offered a summary of the upcoming series:

“While Meliodas absorbs the Commandments in order to become the Demon King and save Elizabeth, Ban wanders through purgatory in order to save the soul of his commander.”
