Knives Out Season 3: Renewed Or Canceled?
Knives Out is a 2019 American mystery movie written, directed, and co-produced by Rian Johnson. It’s about a master detective, Benoit Blanc, who is looking into the death of the patriarch of a wealthy, dysfunctional family.
Daniel Craig plays Blanc, and the movie also stars Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Shannon, Don Johnson, Toni Collette, LaKeith Stanfield, Katherine Langford, Jaeden Martell, and Christopher Plummer.
In March 2021, Netflix paid $469 million for the rights to two stand-alone sequels that would be written and directed by Johnson, with Craig playing the same character in both. The first sequel, called Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, was released in theatres and on Netflix on December 23, 2022.

Knives Out Story
We don’t know exactly what case Benoit Blanc will be solving in Knives Out 3, just like we don’t know who will be in the cast. However, we can be sure that it will be full of twists and go against what you expect from a murder mystery.
Johnson is keeping his plans secret for now, but we do know that after the trip to Greece in Glass Onion, he’ll be back in the US for the third movie.
He told Insider, “I want it to be in America.” “There are a lot of tempting places to go, like Paris or the Alps, but I think it’s important that these movies are set in the United States.

“Even though Glass Onion is set overseas, it’s about a group of Americans who are stuck on an island together, so I think it might be good for the next one to move it somewhere closer to home.”
Even if the third movie is just as popular as the first two, Blanc won’t be solving crimes forever. “I think Rian and I would stop doing them if we ever thought we were just cranking them out,” Craig told Deadline.
Johnson added: “Now, it’s important that each one, and especially the third one, feels scary and dangerous. You need to move the box around.

Knives Out Season 3 Release Date
Even though Knives Out 3 has been confirmed, we don’t know much about when it will come out. But we’re getting ready for what could be a long wait. The first Knives Out movie came out in theatres in November of 2019.
The second movie came out on Netflix in December of 2022. So, we’ll have to wait three years for the next movie. This makes sense, given how complicated the scripts are, how big the cast is, and how expensive the whole thing is.
From that pattern, it looks like the game will come out in November or December 2025. But since this one was given the go-ahead back in 2021, it’s possible that production has already started behind the scenes. This could make things move faster this time, and the movie might come out in late 2023 or early 2024. We think this will be another Christmas release, no matter what.

Knives Out 3 Cast
As of right now, nobody knows! Only Daniel Craig, who plays detective Benoit Blanc, is (pretty) certain to be back. Otherwise, Knives Out 1 and 2 have had a huge number of people join. Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Toni Collette will be in the first movie.
Kate Hudson, Janelle Monáe, and Leslie Odom Jr. will be in the second movie, Glass Onion. So, we’ll expect a list of names just as long as No. 3.
