One Piece Film: Red Reveals the Original Name and Design of Uta!

One Piece Film: Red’s Uta’s original name and designs have been made public, showing that Shanks’ daughter had a very different look at first.

Fans of One Piece know @newworldartur on Twitter as the Library of Ohara. He says that Uta’s first name was going to be Deborah. This was also before she had decided how she would look.

Artur also showed some of Uta’s earlier designs, which were very different from how she turned out in the end. On the picture of the designs are some translated notes from Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, who says that Uta’s design should match the kind of music she sings.

“Uta is the most loved singer in the world, and her voice has been called “otherworldly.” When she performs, she is known for hiding who she is. Now, she will show the world who she is for the first time ever at a live concert,” the synopsis says. “As the Navy watches closely, the venue fills up with Uta’s fans, including excited pirates and the Straw Hats, led by Luffy, who just came to enjoy her powerful performance. They are all eagerly waiting for the voice that the whole world has been waiting for to sound. The story starts with the shocking news that she is the daughter of the mysterious Shanks.
