They planned to release the first half of the season on February 10, 2023, which was also Valentine’s Day. The release date of Part 2 has been moved forward by a week, to March 9, 2023, from March 10. Please revise your calendars accordingly.
The Netflix crew announced the start of season four filming on March 22, 2022, in London by posting a clapperboard from the set. Because we’re talking about Joe, of course, there was blood all over the board.
Since we last saw him at the end of Season 3, they may be currently filming in Paris.

Joe has made a habit of reinventing himself every year, and this is no exception, albeit by far the most ambitious hoax to date. Joe has left his position as a stay-at-home dad and taken up teaching at a university, where he may prey upon a wide variety of students and faculty members.

After the horrific death of his ex-wife Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) at the end of Season 3 in their suburban home, we may assume that Victoria Pedretti will not be returning to the cast. The ghosts of Joe’s ex-girlfriends occasionally reappear to torment him, even if just in his imagination.
Meanwhile, Uncharted’s Tati Gabrielle will be back as Marienne Bellamy, the ex-librarian who became Joe’s obsession in Season 3.
Marienne left town with her daughter Juliette after learning of her husband’s true nature from his wife Love, and the season concluded with Joe attempting to locate them in France.
You Season 4 Location: Where Season Four Filmed?
The fourth season of You will take place in London in the United Kingdom.
When photographs surfaced of Penn Badgley filming sequences for the season in London, fans quickly realized that Netflix had revealed the season’s setting on social media.
You posted on their official Twitter account: “Joe has returned for more mayhem. His reading preferences may tell us anything about him. Possible that our son is no longer in Paris.”

The shared photographs all feature novels with settings in London, England.
The first season of You took place in New York, but season two was shot in Los Angeles. According to Sera Gamble’s interview with Variety, the show’s “sun-drenched color scheme” is immediately apparent to viewers who jumped from Season 1 to Season 2. “The lighting in LA is smoother than it was in the first season.”
Locations around Los Angeles stood in for the made-up town of Madre Linda, while a street in the LA suburb of Van Nuys served as the exterior of Love and Joe’s perfect home in the third season of You.
Season three concludes with Joe in Paris in search of his newest obsession, Marienne, but the scene was shot in Los Angeles with a green screen displaying the Eiffel Tower.
But it looks like this season of YOU will have a more British flavor, as production will take place in London, England.
You Season 4 Plotline: What Can We Expect From This Season?
The season 3 conclusion of You was, to put it mildly, tense. Joe killed his wife Love (Victoria Pedretti), left their infant with another family, faked his death, made a pie out of his toe to blame Love for his death, and then burned down their suburban California home.
Before we lost contact with him, Joe was using the alias “Nick” and had recently arrived in Paris, where he hoped to find Marienne. Season 4 of You will mostly take place in London, with some episodes also taking place in Paris.

It was confirmed at the Netflix Tudum event that Joe has assumed a new identity. He is currently posing as a professor at an unnamed university under the name Jonathan Moore. Given that we know the show was shot in part at Royal Holloway, this makes sense. But what he’s doing with his newfound freedom is still a mystery.
It’s not only a new setting; things will be changed overall. Badgley told Entertainment Tonight in an interview: “Even if the overall tone is the same, the format is changing. Here, we’re employing a new structure “According to what he stressed. “It’s almost as if we’re making a small genre change. And it seems to be doing the trick, in my opinion.”
