Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania ‘First Look’ at Kang the Conquerer

Thanks to a photo of a cast member from the movie (via @MyCosmicCircus), Jonathan Majors’ portrayal of Kang the Conqueror appears to have been given to the public for the first time.

We can see quite the nice artwork graphics emblazoned with the Marvel Studios insignia and ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ for an apparent Stunt Team staff member.

The crew member is sporting a jersey that depicts a cracked Ant-Man helmet with what looks to be Kang the Conquerer’s green and purple helmeted head reflected in it.

We are eager to watch Kang in action because it seems like he has a good grasp of the comic book looks of the character.

It was Majors’ first appearance in the MCU when He Who Remains, a different version of the character, made an appearance in Loki’s season one finale earlier this year.

Ant-Man 3 Plotline: What Can We Expect?

For Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, story details are being kept a well-guarded secret in the usual Marvel fashion, but based on the title, it seems the movie will return to the trippy quantum realm.

Expect to finally receive some answers to the many questions concerning the mysteries it conceals that have remained unanswered despite our previous two films’ glimpses of the alien micro-verse.

In Ant-Man and the Wasp’s mid-credits scene, Scott is shown drawing energy from the quantum realm to aid his “new Ghost friend,” raising the possibility that Hannah’s John character Kamen will return as an ally in the follow-up.

Kang The Conquerer is a formidable Avengers adversary who recently made his live-action debut in Loki episode 6 on Disney Plus. Scott will need all the assistance he can get if he is to defeat Kang The Conquerer.

The variation of Kang who appeared in the series finale went by the alias He Who Remains and was finally killed by Sylvie in a cold-blooded act of retaliation.

However, as the once-Sacred Timeline started sprouting branches at an uncontrollable rate, he forewarned that even more dangerous versions of himself would emerge from the universe.

A large Yellowjacket helmet was found near Kang’s hole after Loki’s fifth episode, which served as a subliminal suggestion that the villain may have some relation to the Ant-universe. Man’s

The insane businessman Darren Cross (Corey Stoll in 2015’s Ant-Man) turned Hank Pym’s technology, which inspired the Yellowjacket armor, against him.

The fact that the suit didn’t turn into a giant in that movie makes us question if the helmet’s presence in Loki portends a future occurrence that will be more discussed in Quantumania.

Given that Hank Pym’s ground-breaking “Pym Particles” made time travel simple during the events of Avengers: Endgame, Kang might also be after the scientist.

The appearance of the villain might have served as the impetus for Scott to start teaching his daughter Cassie how to control her size because, in the comic books, Cassie goes on to become a superhero known as Stature and joins the Young Avengers.
