American superhero TV shows The Boys was created by Eric Kripke for Amazon Prime Video. It follows the titular group of vigilantes as they battle people who take advantage of their superpowers, and is based on the comic book of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.

The Boys Season 4 Was Canceled for January 2023
We were hoping to begin the new year with more evil content, but that didn’t happen. The January listings do not include The Boys Season 4.
There is some unfavorable news when we double-checked the list of releases on Amazon in January 2023. Season 4 of The Boys is not included. We weren’t expecting to see it there, but that didn’t stop us from hoping for a miracle of some kind.

We are still waiting, and we have no idea how long it will be. Despite the fact that we are all keeping quiet about this show, we do know that filming began at the end of 2022. Although there will have been a hiatus over the holidays, filming will shortly resume as usual.
When will The Boys Season 4 Come to Prime Video?
At the earliest, we can expect it by the end of 2023. We did observe The Boys’ approximately 14-month season gap before the epidemic. However, the early renewal of the program was beneficial. The third season was delayed longer, although in part because of the epidemic.

In January 2021, the third season’s filming got underway. The season wasn’t available to us until June 2022. We might not have to wait 18 months for the commencement of Season 4 filming, thanks to some of the filming protocols that contributed to this. In other words, the earliest we’ll probably see it is in late 2023. We might have to hold off until early 2024.

About what to anticipate, we don’t know a lot. Some casting-related news has surfaced, but nothing more recently. The reappearance of Black Noir is something that Eric Kripke has alluded to. Having a Supe with a full mask is advantageous since anyone can assume that function. As our Black Noir was killed off at the end of Season 3, another Supe might fill that position in the upcoming season.
Boys Season 4 Cast
In the season three finale of The Boys, a lot of characters were on the verge of passing away, but just one did. We’re sad to say that Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell) won’t be back for a second season after Homelander tore out his insides (Antony Starr).

Although Dominique McElligott’s Queen Maeve did not pass away suddenly, it is unknown if she will play the part again. We sincerely hope to see her on the call sheet even if her character arc appears to have ended (more on that below).
