The L Word: Generation Q Reviews
I find it sad that I have to say that. On this show, my identification as a member of the LGBTQI+ community was made fun of. Plot, speech, and characters in the second season are all bad and foolish. The events depicted in the show are completely nonsensical.
You had the sensation that you were watching a collection of unrelated incidents in which people engaged in sexual activity solely for aesthetic and fetishistic reasons without regard for a larger narrative or context.
It is devoid of any sense of drama, comedy, romance, intelligence, depth, or engrossment; it has nothing to do with romantic love, platonic friendship, or familial ties; and it isn’t even about love, friendship, or family. The problem is not the assumption. It’s a waste of time to watch this show.
