Fans have been waiting a long time for Season 2 of The Fruit of Evolution. Fans and critics alike have liked this adventure-comedy anime series. Since last year, Fruit of Evolution has been making a lot of money, and if you want to know more about this show and its second season, you don’t have to worry because we have all the information you need.
What is the Story of The Fruit of Evolution?
Seiichi is a destitute man. Because he is overweight and has a dreadful appearance, he is bullied. According to his tormentors, Seiichi Hiiragi is an ugly, repulsive, filthy, and odorous pig. Yeah, poor man.
This changed when a voice claiming to be God proclaimed Seiichi’s isekai chance over the school’s PA system. However, he is not the only one. God will move the entire school to an alternate universe containing game-like aspects such as levels and abilities.
Even as the school prepares to sail for the new world, poor Seiichi is barred from groupings. In the new world, the protagonist is summoned to a different location.
Welp. There it is. The exact moment that The Fruit of Evolution became the worst and most embarrassing anime that I’ve ever seen in my life. pic.twitter.com/OLRGHgXnHZ

Left alone in a foreign universe, Seiichi is contacted by a gorilla who is attracted to him for unknown reasons. Then, Seiichi and the gorilla discover a miraculous fruit known as the Fruit of Evolution.
The remainder is a crazy isekai tale for the record books. Shinka no Mi is a funny story, but it’s not the best isekai out there, especially since it uses many of the tired tropes of the subgenre.
Due to the power gap, Seiichi’s fights are short and not very interesting. Fans also like that the MC collects monsters for his harem, even though they can change into humans and look like them.
The show is like the popular isekai anime Arifureta: From Everyday to World’s Strongest in some ways. Shinka no Mi is kind of like Arifureta’s little brother who doesn’t get enough credit, but Arifureta is better at building a world.
Fans are excited about Seiichi’s fight with Destra in the trailer, so they hope that the second season will have better fights, especially since the Demon Cult will be in it. Shinka no Mi should finally “evolve” and use their new staff to the best of their ability.
Release Date of The Fruit of Evolution Season 2
Shinka no Mi season 2 will start on January 13, 2023, according to the second promotional video, which came out on November 24, 2022.
On January 16, BS-TV Tokyo will be the first to show the show. Shinka no Mi season 2 will also be available to stream on NTT Docomo’s d-anime store and other similar services in Japan.
The renewal of The Fruit of Evolution was announced on April 1, 2022 (it wasn’t an April Fools’ joke), and it was confirmed in August at Crunchyroll Expo 2022 during the anime’s industry panel.
Over the next few months, changes to the staff were announced. The previous director, Yoshiaki Okumura, is now the chief director, which is a big change.
Shige Fukase, who has directed episodes of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, will be the new director.
Iroha Mitsuki and Nobuhide Hayashi joined as character designers. Hiroyasu Yano, Arisa Okehazama, and Yki Sait joined as composers. Mikihiro Harabe and Hisashi Muramatsu joined as art directors and sound directors, respectively.
What Happened at the End of The Fruit of Evolution Season 1?
By the end of season 1, Seiichi had become known as “The Man Who Made the World Surrender” and had become every monster’s worst nightmare. He got this reputation by killing a large group of boss demon monsters with an S-Rank.
Seiichi is hired as a teacher at the school and given the job of bringing out the talents of a few “quirky” failures in his class. He finds out later that these kids can’t do any magic at all. He has to deal with a lot of things at school, bringing his school life into the real world with him.

Cast of The Fruit of EvolutionSeason 2
One of the most important things that can make or break a show is the people who do the voices. The people who made this show, on the other hand, have given this a lot of thought. The voice actors for the show are doing a great job making the characters come to life. Hiro Shimono voices Seiichi Hiragi, Marina Inoue voices Altria Grem, Kana Hanazawa voices Saria, Yoko Hikasa voices Louize Balze, and there are many more.
Ratings of The Fruit of Evolution Anime
Taking into account how popular the anime is and what it is about, it is clear that the show should do well in reviews and ratings. Strangely, a popular show like “The Fruit of Evolution” has gotten a “pretty good” rating of 6.2 out of 10 on IMDb, which doesn’t make sense because the show’s flaws aren’t as bad as the reviews say they are. People seem to dislike the love story between a boy and a female gorilla, which is the main reason why the movie got such bad reviews.
Studio of The Fruit of Evolution Season 2
This anime was based on a popular manga, but it was made possible by a studio. A studio is the only place that can plan and finish a project like this in a structured way. This anime was made by Hotline Studios and is shown on Crunchyroll. A lot of well-known animes were also made by Hotline Studios, like Sparrow’s Hotel and Shiba Inuko-San.
