Black Bird Season 1 Review

This show suffers from the same issue that plagues the vast majority of “American” superhero movies. In this production, the lead part is played by an actor from the United Kingdom. They devote the vast bulk of their attention to attempting to conceal their British pronunciation.

Watching them pucker up their faces and constantly alter the tone of their voices in an effort to conceal what they are feeling makes me uncomfortable. It is unfortunate that they have not been able to locate a single American actor with the necessary skills to play any of these roles.
