Yes, it is an enchanted crash course in Japanese, Russian, and American literature. All character and ability names are derived from the names and works of renowned authors. The protagonist of the narrative is a young man named Atsushi Nakajima who is expelled from his orphanage following years of horrific torture.
Atsushi saves Osamu Dazai, a detective who enjoys committing himself and is pursuing a mysterious tiger that has materialized in the area where he is mindlessly wandering. During his meeting with Dazai, Atsushi discovers that he was the tiger Dazai had been seeking the entire time. Atsushi possesses the mystical ability to shift into a white tiger when the full moon.
Atsushi also finds out that Dazai and his partner, Doppo Kunikida, work for a private detective agency with Dazai’s partner. Dazai and his team of strange people with special powers, all of whom are named after authors from the real world, solve cases that have to do with the supernatural.
The main character finds a new home at the agency, where he helps solve cases and learns how to control the monster inside of him.

The Cast of Bungo Stray Dogs Season 5
Shouya Chiba joined the cast as Sigma. He was MC Kiyotaka in Classroom of the Elite. Sigma is the general manager of Sky Casino, but he also has a secret life.
Other new cast members include Akio Ohtsuka as Genichirō Fukuchi, Makoto Koichi as Teruko Ōkura, Takehito Koyasu as Nikolai G, Takeshi Kusao as Mushitarō Oguri, Yuuki Kaji as Saigiku Jōno, and Yōhei Azakami as Tecchō Suehiro.
