In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Tony Gilroy hinted at what’s to come for Andor, saying that things will be “quite different” when the show returns.

“The first year is mostly about him maturing into something, and the final line of these 12 episodes will sum up our goals. And now we’ve returned a whole calendar year later. Things will be drastically altered, “With that, he got things rolling.

“The plot of the next four years does not involve the protagonist becoming a revolutionary. They cover a wide range of topics, including growing into one’s leadership role, the challenges of allying, the fate of the original gangsters in the face of institutionalized crime, and more.

Season 2 of Andor will have a new narrative framework, moving the timeline forward by one year every three episodes; nevertheless, Gilroy has assured fans that the show’s attention to detail will not be sacrificed.
