Barry Allen, a CSI investigator, is hit by lightning and goes into a coma following a strange storm brought on by a particle accelerator. A few months later, he comes with the ability to walk across Central City as quickly as an invisible guardian angel.
The Flash Season 9 debuts on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 8/7c. It begins up one week after the Reverse Flash was destroyed in the Season 8 finale, and Barry and Iris are getting back in touch.
When Does the Flash Season 9 Premiere?
Season 9 of The CW’s Stargirl replaces Stargirl for the channel’s February 8, 2023, 8 p.m. ET launch.
As per usual, UK fans will have to wait a little longer to watch the new episodes, which will necessitate some extra careful spoiler avoidance as the drama approaches its conclusion.
The Flash team last season concentrated on saving Iris West-Allen as her case of time travel deteriorated. Given the way, the plot was handled and how the season’s narrative was put together, this storyline caused some controversy among fans over the quality of season 8. However, it appears that she and Barry will be on the same page, happy, and cooperating once more in season 9 now that she has recovered and Reverse Flash has been beaten (again).

Does this suggest that The Flash’s eagerly anticipated pregnancy plotline is about to begin? We certainly hope so! It’s now or never to introduce the West-Allen children into the story as infants rather than grownups because the series is an established one on The CW and is winding down. However, since there is no proof of that plot, all we can do is conjecture.
Here is what we do know about the ninth season of the program, featuring the appearance of beloved Arrowverse figures like Nicole Maines’ Dreamer and Batwoman, played by Javicia Leslie.
What Will Happen in the Flash Season 9?
Given that season 9 of The Flash will be the show’s final season, expect a strong emphasis on wrapping up the narrative and leaving longtime viewers happy.
One option to do this is to bring back Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, the thought-dead vigilante whose own solo show gave rise to this well-liked spin-off, and who is confirmed to guest star in the final season.
According to Stephen Amell on Instagram: “The ninth and last season of The Flash has me returning. Why? Nothing matters. How? Nothing matters. The Flash is coming to an end, stated Greg Berlanti when he called me. Would you like to?” I responded, “Yes! You’re not even required to finish your thought.”
Of course I’m coming back. pic.twitter.com/T3uwq89JYW

Don’t f***ing ask me any more questions about it, he continued. Just tune in later this year when it airs.
The Flash showrunner Eric Wallace previously told Deadline that the last episode would have a significant appearance from the new negative speed force avatar, which was hinted at in the season 8 finale and will be portrayed by Danielle Panabaker.
Barry and his squad will face more than just that dangerous adversary, though.
Next year, we’ll face several formidable foes, Wallace added. “We’ll keep using the graphic book format. Since I honestly don’t know how many episodes I have, if I acquire enough, we’ll have three graphic novels, just like last year.

The Flash Season 9 Plotline: What Can We Expect From This Season?
According to TVLine, the ninth and last season’s formal plot seems to begin practically immediately after Season 8’s events.
“Season 9 begins one week after the Reverse Flash has been destroyed, and Barry and Iris are reuniting, according to the official synopsis. However, the logline states that “The Flash and his team… must once again defy unimaginable odds to save the day when a lethal bunch of Rogues converges on Central City led by a strong new menace.
“A dangerous new foe emerges to threaten Barry Allen’s heroic legacy. Barry and Team Flash will be tested to the limit in their biggest struggle yet to once more preserve Central City.
Although there are still many unanswered questions about the final season, there are numerous predictions that are floating online that have a good probability of coming true.
