Netflix Film Extraction Season 2 Set to Debut on June 2023?

Extraction 2, Netflix’s planned high-octane action sequel, has a release date. On June 16, 2023, the movie with Chris Hemsworth is scheduled to make its streaming service premiere. The planned follow-up to the blockbuster success of 2020 recasts Hemsworth as Tyler Rake, a former Australian special forces soldier turned mercenary on a fresh assignment.

Rake is thrown back into the deep end after seemingly dying at the end of the previous movie, with the sequel’s setting being more freezing cold than the first one’s bright and sunny. He is tasked with freeing the family of a Georgian mobster from the custody of the prison.

This will call for explosive action, helicopter landings on moving trains, and prison riots, to mention a few of the crazy set pieces that will appear in the movie, as demonstrated in previously released featurettes. The mission, according to Hargrave, will be “bigger, badder, more deadly, and more dangerous than anything we’ve seen Rake go through.”

Extraction Season 2

Based on Ande Parks’s 2014 graphic novel Ciudad, which was written by Parks, Joe & Anthony Russo, and Fernando León González and had pictures by González. The Netflix movie based on the 2020 book tells the story of Tyler Rake, who has to save the kidnapped son of a crime boss.

Hargrave, who directed his first full-length movie with the first one, is in charge of the second one, and Joe Russo is back to write the script. The movie will also be made by Joe and his brother Anthony’s production company, AGBO. Hemsworth will not only be in the movie, but he will also be in charge of making it.
