The Match Release Date: When It Will Be Renewed?
The Match has no confirmation date, and a biopic about the battle between Cho Hun-Hyun and Lee Chang-ho, two master and student Go players, will be available on Netflix in 2023.
Kim Hyun-Joo, who previously worked on the 2017 criminal comedy film The Sheriff in Town, is the writer and director of the upcoming movie. The Match’s filming was finished in April 2021, but the COVID-19 outbreak caused distribution delays, according to The Korea Times.
