This animation is based on the manga Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill, in which a 27-year-old man named Tsuyoshi Mukda lives in Japan and leads a normal life, oblivious to the inevitable events that would occur to him.

The wizard in the world of swordplay and magic mistakenly delivered Tsuyoshi to the Reijseger’s Kingdom on King Iwaku’s orders, and Tsuyoshi believes he will be stuck in this world for the rest of his life. In addition to him, three more heroes were selected. Tsuyoshi abandons the kingdom to pursue his own objectives after seeing that something is off with this reality.

Tsuyoshi’s only skill is the ability to purchase items from an online grocery store in order to cook delectable meals. In this anime, Tsuyoshi lacks courage and has little interest in fighting foes.

Several of his opponents urge him to fight due to his cowardice, but he quickly begins to cope with his opponents in his own way. He is on a mission to employ his virtuous cooking skills to eliminate hunger among all intelligent beings.

This tale was taken from the website Shsetsuka ni Nar in January 2016 before to publication. It debuted as a manga on Comic Gardo’s website on March 24, 2017, and there are presently thirteen volumes. There are apparently two successful episodes of this anime’s first season, and the third episode will air on January 25, 2023.

You can see how Mukoda was called in the world of magic and swordplay in the earlier episodes of Campfire Cooking in Another Domain with My Absurd Skill. When his group of brave adventurers tried to cross the border of the kingdom, they ran into the huge Fenrir (Wolf beast).

The beast was watching them, and when it smelled the incredibly delicious meal, it showed itself to the whole group of brave adventurers. Fenrir was hungry, so he asked Mukoda to make him something tasty.

He fell in love with the food after he tried it, so he made a deal with Mukoda to take care of him and feed him every day. The beast made him feel like he shouldn’t say anything, so he agreed to the terms of the deal. The group of explorers was surprised and happy by this.

When the group of adventurers reached the Kingdom of Venan, their journey was over, and they all went their separate ways with joy. After talking with them about which guild to join, he decided to join both the “Merchant’s Guild and Adventurer’s Guild.” He is currently on his first mission to get a rare herb called “Thistle.”

If you look at the manga and anime for this series together, you’ll see that the first two episodes are the same as the first quarter of the first five chapters. In the scene at the end of episode 2, you can see how Fenrir was fighting against the group of creatures.

In episode 3, we learn that Mukoda is looking for the Thistle herbs and will ask Fel to go hunting with him until he finds them so that he can make lunch for the two of them. So, Fel will build a wall around Mukoda and go look for the same thing.

You might also get to see Mukado ride Fel for the first time. Mukado thinks that Fel’s speed is too fast for him and not what he needs. Mukoda has a “virtual screen” that floats in the air and is called “Appraisal.” It helps him figure out what everything is in this world.

He will look for the Thistle herbs with this screen. After that, the two of them will keep walking for a while until they find some strange dead animals that Fel says everyone can eat.

When they finish their mission, they will go to the Adventurer guild’s office to sell everything they have. This includes the Thistle herb and the bodies of A-grade monsters, which are so scary that just hearing their name is enough to scare anyone away.
