In addition, the “to be continued” sentence at the end of the second film hinted at the third installment of the Sailor Moon Eternal series. Kotono Mitsuishi, one of the voice actresses, discussed this teasing statement, saying that there is more to the plot in the manga than what has been shown thus far.
