Brunson stated to Elle(opens in new tab) that she and the cast have many other ideas for the season in addition to these character arcs. While Ralph wants to see her character form a chorus, which would reference her previous film Sister Act 2, she stated that she wants more field trips outside of the Abbott halls.

Williams also stated that he is eager to continue Gregory and Janine’s will-they, won’t-they relationship. “Before [Gregory] is prepared for a relationship, let alone one with Janine, he needs to mature significantly. From a distance, though, we can see how, if they put in the effort, they could truly have something special.”

What Are People Saying About the Show?

Edwards agrees with this “Each episode skillfully mixes and matches different teams of Abbott’s professors so that we can continue to obtain a deep understanding of how everyone interacts with and values one another. The fact that Abbott Elementary still has one of the strongest comedy ensembles on television makes these combinations even more enjoyable.”
