For her book club in 2019, Reese Witherspoon chose this novel, and now, as part of her production firm Hello Sunshine, she has purchased the rights to adapt it into a limited series. Daisy Jones & The Six seems destined to join the ranks of critically acclaimed shows like “Little Fires Everywhere,” “Big Little Lies,” and “From Scratch.”

The show, which will premiere exclusively on Prime Video, is being called a “musical drama” and will follow the band’s meteoric ascent and demise.
