Drops of God Release Date: What Can We Expect From This?

Production on the multilingual, international TV series “Drops of God,” based on the popular Japanese manga “Kami, no Shizuku,” has begun. Produced by Adeline Entertainment in association with Legendary Television and Dynamic Television for the Nippon Television-owned Hulu Japan, the series is based in the wine and food industries.

One of the plot points is a woman learning that her long-lost father has bequeathed her his whole wine collection. However, a Japanese guy whom her father treated like a son and possibly more stands in the way of her inheriting the family fortune.

The first episode of “Drops of God,” created by Quoc Dang Tran (“Marianne,” “Parallel”), executive produced by Klaus Zimmermann (“Borgia,” “Trapped,” and directed by Oded Ruskin (“No Man’s Land,” “Absentia”), will broadcast on Apple TV+ outside of Japan in 2023. Drops of God Cast Members

Tomohisa Yamashita (“The Head,” “Tokyo Vice,” and “Alice in Borderland”) plays Issei Tomine, while Fleur Geffrier (“Das Boat,” “Elle”) plays Camille Léger. Les Productions Dynamic, in collaboration with 22H22 and Adeline Entertainment, create the series.
