With its debut in November 2019, Apple TV+ has been steadily adding a wide variety of must-watch titles, from Ted Lasso and Severance to Bad Sisters and Slow Horses.
With the help of A-listers like Jason Segel and Harrison Ford, the newcomer Shrinking (from the minds of Ted Lasso’s Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein) hopes to establish itself as a mainstay in that group.
Shrinking Release Date
On Friday, January 27, 2023, Shrinking premiered on Apple TV+.
Jason Segel of How I Met Your Mother fame plays therapist Jimmy Laird in this tragicomedy about his descent into depression after the loss of his wife.

To find some measure of solace in the wake of his loss, Jimmy adopts a new philosophy toward his life and career, approaching everyone with unvarnished honesty.

With this new approach, he discards his years of education and ethics, drastically altering the lives of everyone he comes in contact with.
How Many Episodes in Shrinking?
In total, there will be 10 parts to Shrinking.
Apple TV+ premiered the first two episodes on January 27, and fresh episodes will continue to roll out every Friday going forward.
With ten episodes in the first season, fans can look forward to a new episode of Shrinking every week until March 24.
