Ryouma Takebayashi, a man who had lived a horrible life, passed very suddenly in his sleep. He was just 39. Three gods feel sorry for him and reincarnate him in a paradise where his only responsibility is to be himself and have fun. His new life as a child begins when he is taken from civilization and placed in the forest. It has been three years since the turn of the century. Ryouma has spent a great deal of time researching slimes. This has allowed him to develop new species of lice, arm himself with a well-trained force, and hone his mystical talents.

He enjoys his hermit lifestyle and his cozy cave home, but he longs for human contact. After saving the life of a member of a visiting party from the duke’s household, Ryouma is convinced to leave the woods with his collection of slimes. In this new setting, his abilities as a mage and slime tamer will continue to awe and impress.

Ryouma orders his fellow adventurers to take cover as he employs martial arts and magic to defeat the smash boar. The heroes express their gratitude by presenting him with gifts, and Ryouma tends to the wounds of one of his friends. All the blood is drained from the boar with his blood slime and then he sells the flesh.

Ryouma enlists the aid of the adventurers’ Filly, Lurie, and Ken in transporting the slain boar into town. He also needs them to vouch for him before the guild, saying that he was compelled to combat the monster without permission because he feared for his life. It’s an agreement they make with pleasure.

At home, Miyabi scolds Ryouma for being careless, while Pioro is impressed. When an inspector from the adventurers’ guild arrives, Ryouma and the heroes fill him in on what happened. All of the meat is sold to Pioro.

Pioro has asked Ryouma for advice on how to best prepare the boar meat. He decides to prepare Ginger to smash boar after realizing it has the same flavor as pork. It’s a hit with Pioro and Miyabi, so it spreads quickly around town.

Carla and her crew, both old and new, rush to open up shop in the new location. Pioro thinks Ryouma is a very astute businessman. People flock to the new Bamboo Forest location soon after it opens.

Ryouma decides to head back to Gimul after completing his mission. He asks Miyabi to introduce him to her classmate Eli at the Imperial Academy and bids her good luck before leaving.

In a letter to Ryouma, Eli updates her on her development in tamer magic and skills.

With Gimul. Ryouma runs into Serge, who informs him that he’s going to the magic item market in Keleban. Serge’s interest in magic things is fascinating to Ryouma, so much so that he tells him all about it.

Season 2 will most likely follow Ryoma and his slime creatures as they get into further misadventures.
