The Japanese anime series Buddy Daddies is made by Nitroplus and Aniplex, and the animation is done by P.A. Works. It’s directed by Yoshiyuki Asai, written by Vio Shimokura, and the music is by Katsutoshi Kitagawa of Round Table.
This anime tells the story of two friends, Kazuki Kurusu and Rei Suwa, who work in a shady job. During Christmas, Miri Masaka was wandering around the hotel lobby when her father died. She met Kazuki Kurusu and Rei Suwa because of an accident that brought them to her aid.
It is clean and colorful. Miri is too cute to handle for a 4-year-old, and you can’t handle how cute she is. The two friends can’t leave the girl alone, so they keep her while they look for her real father. The wit of a four-year-old who isn’t afraid to say what’s on her mind would be fun to see between two friends who don’t talk much.
We see in episode 5 that Kazuki and Rei have no money and have to ask Kyutaro for work. Even though Kyutaro does not trust them to kill people, he gives them several missions to gather information. Unfortunately, the daycare has a flu outbreak and has to close for a week. Miri’s parents have to take care of her at home, lie to her about their jobs, and then collect information while she sleeps so she can figure out what they do.
After falling asleep while watching Miri, Rei sneaks out and follows Kazuki to Kyutaro’s bar so he can find out more about his job. Kazuki says he was watching her as a way to make extra money. Kyutaro is suspicious, so he offers to babysit Miri while they finish gathering information.
Kazuki and Rei are rushing to finish their work because they are afraid Miri will tell the truth if they wait too long. Let’s look at when Buddy Daddies Episode 6 will come out and when it will air, what the review of Buddy Daddies Episode 5 said, and where we can watch it.
Release Date of Buddy Daddies Episode 6
The sixth episode of Buddy Daddies is set to come out on Saturday, February 11, 2023. Let’s look at when Buddy Daddies Episode 6 airs in different places:
Recap: What Happened in Buddy Daddies Episode 5?
As seen in Buddy Daddies Episode 5, “Crunch Time,” it is a dynamic look at being a parent, working, and balancing financial responsibility with the responsibility to take care of your family, even if that means hurting your family. Works know how to make the good parts of a show while the main conflict is going on. Kazuki and Rei kill people for money in the end, so they are killers. Even though they killed Miri’s father, they still love her.
One thing that makes the characters in Buddy Daddies Episode 5 stand out is that they can do both their hitman jobs and their fatherly duties. Even though the last episode was full of happiness and “slice of life” moments, Kyutaro reminds the audience at the end of the episode that life isn’t perfect. Kyutaro’s warning to our main characters about the dangers of their work is also a reminder to the audience.

- Blindspotting Season 2 Release Date: What Can We Expect From This Season?
A story that has been going on for a long time can grow in a way that makes it more than just a gimmick, especially if the show knows how its characters live. The fifth episode of Buddy Daddies continues the series’ trend of mixing family values with becoming an assassin and all the problems that come with it. I can’t wait to see what happens next now that their family life is stable, their jobs are secure, and Kyutaro can help with the kids. Buddy Daddies is the best action/family comedy anime and an ideal family.
