In March of 2023, Netflix will release a new action thriller called The Night Agent. Emmy-nominated showrunner Shawn Ryan is adapting Matthew Quirk’s bestselling novel of the same name for television (The Shield, S.W.A.T). Sony Pictures Television, where both Ryan and Gordon have overall deals, will produce the series, and Seth Gordon will direct the pilot. Gordon’s resume includes roles in films and television shows like For All Mankind and Atypical, as well as guest roles on The Goldbergs.

Diane Farr, the president’s chief of staff, will be portrayed by Downsizing actor Hong Chau. She is regarded as calculating and political. becomes one of Peter and Rose’s most dependable agents inside the White House.
The Vice Present’s daughter, Maddie Redfield, will be portrayed by Sarah Desjardins of Riverdale. Maddie is studying abroad in Rome but hates her parents.

What’s the Production Status of the Night Agent?
The Night Agent on Netflix was still in the development phase in July 2021 as the screenplays were still being created.
According to recent shooting data, the production appears to have been delayed from its original January 2022 start date.
The limited series’ filming reportedly began on February 14th, 2022, per Variety Insight. The Night Agent will then go into production for a further six months, with a current target wrap date of July 15, 2022.
The show is scheduled to shoot in Los Angeles, California, and Vancouver, Canada, which is likely where the Rome scenes are being shot.
The show’s Washington D.C. segments are being shot in Vancouver. According to one website, on March 9th, locals posted pictures of the Hornby St. building’s transformation. According to other rumors, the program will feature a significant vehicle chase action and a helicopter crash.
