The fifth installment in The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel – Northern War, At the End of an Ashen Journey is titled At the End of an Ashen Journey. The team is aboard a train on its route to their next destination in search of information regarding the renowned hero of the Empire.
The journey is cut short, however, when an accident brings Lavian face-to-face with a person who may have the necessary information. Along the way, the team must confront not only the dark secrets of the Empire but also their own anxieties and insufficiencies. They will ultimately have to decide if they are willing to sacrifice everything for the truth.
Story of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel- Northern War Season 1
The Erebonian Empire has captured a lot of people, and in the fifth episode of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel – Northern War, Lavian and her team try to free them. At the start of the episode, Lavian and her team sneak into an Imperial building and fight their way through its defenses.
During the trip, they find out that the Empire has been testing humans and turning them into mindless robots. To save them, Lavian and her crew have to fight their way through the establishment and face the Emperor, Giliath Osborne. Rean Schwarzer and his friends are trying to get their fellow soldiers out of an Eritrean jail.
After a dangerous escape, they find out that the Empire has been using a powerful weapon called the Valimar to make its victims slaves. With Rean’s help, Lavian and her team can free the prisoners and beat Giliath Osborne. Thanks to Rean and Altina Orion, Lavian’s crew can win and put an end to the Empire’s harsh rule over North Ambria.
