Succession Season 4 Release Date: When Will It Premiere on HBO Max?

The long-awaited premiere date for Season 3 has finally been set! The season debut will air simultaneously on HBO and HBO Max on Sunday, March 26, 2023, from 9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT, and will then be accessible to stream exclusively on HBO Max, along with the other original programs and movies that are available on the streaming platform.

According to HBO Max’s official synopsis of Season 4, “In the upcoming fourth season, the sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech genius Lukas Matsson gets ever closer. What their lives will be like when this earth-shattering sale is finalized causes existential anxiety and rifts throughout the Roy family. A fight for control develops as the family considers a future in which their influence in society and politics will be significantly diminished.

Cast members for Season 4 include but are not limited to: Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Alan Ruck, Matthew Macfadyen, Nicholas Braun, J. Smith-Cameron, Peter Friedman, David Rasche, Fisher Stevens, Hiam Abbass, Justine Lupe, Dagmara Domiczyk, Arian Moayed, Scott Nicholson, Zo Winters, Annabelle Dexter-Jone Alexander Skarsgrd, Cherry Jones, Hope Davis, Justin Kirk, and Stephen Root also play supporting roles. Annabeth Gish, Adam Godley, Eili Harboe, and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson are among the new cast members for season 4.

Cast: Collingwood (James Cromwell), Ewan Roy (Natalie Gold), Rava Roy (Caitlin Fitzgerald), Nate Sofrelli (Ashley Zukerman), Sandy Furness (Larry Pine), Maxim Pierce (Mark-Linn Baker), and Pip Torrens (Maxim Pierce) (Peter Munion) Jesse Armstrong conceived the series, and he served as an executive producer alongside Adam McKay, Frank Rich, Kevin Messick, Jane Tranter, Mark Mylod, Tony Roche, Scott Ferguson, Jon Brown, Lucy Prebble, Will Tracy, and Will Ferrell. The show is directed by Jesse Armstrong.

The scene in the teaser appears to take place immediately after the events of the Season 3 finale, in which Logan Roy (Brian Cox) betrays his grown children. Siobhan (Sarah Snook) says in the trailer, “This is not about getting back at Dad, but if it bothers him, it doesn’t concern me.” When asked to elaborate, Kendall (Jeremy Strong) said, “It’s a tightrope walk on a straight razor…” Damage to one’s honor of 500 feet.”

Succession Season 4 Episodes and Streaming Options

The premiere episode of the fourth season will be made available on the same day it airs, and the other nine episodes will be released weekly on HBO Max.

Each episode will range between 56 and 70 minutes. The premiere date is set for February 1, 2022, however, the network has not yet announced the precise episode titles or plot synopsis. Once it becomes released, Season 4 of Succession will be streamable exclusively on HBO and HBO Max.
